I love cover girl lash blast
it's amazing!!...it's in the big orange tube...the brush is huge!
it can be intimidating at first but once you get

thick, big, bold, long beautiful lashes
i absolutely love it and the price is not bad at all
it's around 7-8 dollars depending on where you buy it
you can get it at wallgreens, Rite-Aid, wallmart, CVS
any dept. store
Also you might want to try cover girl eye lash curler it's great
it gives your lashes long amazing curl and makes them look

it helps the mascara to do what it's supposed to do you can get the eye lash curler any where cover girl products are sold
And another great mascara that i just recently bought is the colossal volume express mascara from maybelline

Okay, most peeps r gonna say some 4- 5 dollar mascara, but this mascara is only 1.79!! it is NYC waterproof mascara, and it is in a metallic blue tube. It has a super thick brush for vloume and length, and it NEVER clumps!!
good luckerz!!=]] (ps: it's availbale @ any drugstore/walmart/target)=]]
First of all I hate Mac mascara's or makeup in general, this is for all who love Mac cosmetics. But anyway, i recommend using rimmel lash maxx it gives great volume, the brush looks like a comb so it easily glides on the lashes, and it's a good price.
i use Dior Show Blackout and it works really well.....i got it at Sephora and its made specifically for length and i haven't had any problems with it clumping....hope i helped!
COVERGIRL! It's the best. Especially the Queen Line.
I use CoverGirl Lash Blast. It makes them look longer and fuller and does not clump.

What is the best mascara for thickening and lengthening eyelashes?
no clumping!
something besides lashblast ( it makes my eyes itch)What is the best mascara for thickening and lengthening eyelashes?
Use Revlon...they sell all kinds of mascaras for any thickness/length you want. Look at all the options :)What is the best mascara for thickening and lengthening eyelashes?
I'm allergic to a lot of drugstore brand mascaras and the only brands I've found don't bother me (and work well with my lashes) are Rimmel and Mary Kay. Out of those two, I'd say that the best for lenghtening and thickening would be Rimmel's Lash Maxxx. (I'm wearing it right now and my lashes look awesome!)
I don't think you can beat Maybelline's Great Lash. It's been around for a long time, and has long been touted for its excellence, even against the pricier ';big names.';
Using an eyelash curler really gives the eyes that glam appeal, too.
big fatty mascara by urban decay
Using an eyelash curler, Maybelline's Great Lash, and then a coat of L'oreal's Volumious has given me fantastic results.
If you're going for thickening and lengthening then I would recommend Le 2 de Guerlain, Smashbox's Bionic Mascara, or Zoomlash from Mac. You may not like Zoomlash because it tends to clump a little, but nothing a lash comb can't fix.
Oh boy, I had this problem. But then
my friend gave me the perfect answer!
I use these two mac mascaras, and I
love them so much. Too think of it, they
are running out, I need to buy new ones.
But I use plush and zoom lash!

Whenever I put on mascara and eyeshadow it like sinks into my skin, at the end of the day my makeup's gone.
Well currently I use Covergirl Lashblast, witch I think is OK but not the best. But I have noticed my makeup seems to almost sink into my skin, including my mascara. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions for mascara thats stay on throughout the whole day and thickens lashes?Whenever I put on mascara and eyeshadow it like sinks into my skin, at the end of the day my makeup's gone.
the mascara or makeup isn't the problem, you need to use a primer first, there are a few really good ones at sephora. if you can't afford tha,t then try lotion or foundation on your eyelids first before applying makeup or mascara.Whenever I put on mascara and eyeshadow it like sinks into my skin, at the end of the day my makeup's gone.
I like Revlon or Maybelline for mascara and I've never had this problem. As for eyeshadow, I suggest using an eyeshadow primer and then put the eyeshadow on top - that way, it will last all day.
I would guess that you probably have oily skin which makes your makeup melt away. try using a primer to keep your eye makeup in place all day. Urban decay primer potion is good.

What's a good mascara for sensitive/sore eyes?
I work on a computer all day and find my eyes get REALLY sore, but for some reason, only when I'm wearing mascara.
I'd hate to go without though, so can someone suggest one that is extra gentle or something? What's a good mascara for sensitive/sore eyes?
I am allergic to most mascaras and the one i find is best for my eyes is YSL mascaras they are great and i know they are a little more expensive but they do give a very very good coverage and they last a long long time xWhat's a good mascara for sensitive/sore eyes?
You should try a clear mascara, like CoverGirl Natural Lash Mascara or Maybelline Clear Great Lash Mascara. They are safe for sensitive eyes and condition your lashes. If that doesn't help, you probably should just skip mascara in general and go see an eye doctor.
Mac mascara is good for me, the 'X' kind. Also, I like a Clinique one that comes in a dark green container.
Mary Kay sensitive mascara
it's the best!
but you need a consultant to get it.
Almay works great for me and it doesn't flake in my eyes at all. Its great stuff.
MAC mascara is the shyyyyyyyyyT!
Clinique High Impact. Good stuff.

How do you make mascara show through glasses?
I have mascara and my mom said this is the only one I get so i can't buy a new special kind. I have glasses and when I put mascara on... and it doesn't show. How do I make it show??How do you make mascara show through glasses?
I have quite thick lensed glasses so I wear black mascara and eyeliner. I have naturally long lashes so I kinda go easy on the brush
but listen to the others above and definitely use curlers which you should be able to get from any pharmacy and they're quite cheap.
Btw sometime for my eye lashes I put a little vaseline over them and then curl them which protects them and gives the effect of naturally long lashes. If you have sparse or short lashes go with black mascara over the top. And if you dont want the clumpy look - just wipe off the excess mascara of the wand on tissue until you only have alittle left then brush it from the root slowly and kind of drag it upwards while wiggling the brush sideways. It always gives a thickened but natural effect for me
also if you have dark skin around you eyes or naturally dark skin put some light eye-shadow on or light concealer before putting on mascara or eyelinerHow do you make mascara show through glasses?
Try putting an extra coat on after the first one dries. You can also try eyeliner.
It may also be the type of glasses you have. I wear glasses with an anti-reflective coating, so one can see my eyes very clearly through the lenses. However, if your mom won't buy you new mascara, she probably won't get you new glasses ;-)
Do you have eyeliner? That could attract attention to your eyes and mascara. If you don't have it, try wearing more layers mascara. Or you could apply a layer to your bottom lashes.
I wear glasses often and it helps to use black mascara and curl your lashes. I curl mine before I apply it to make it less dramatic.

Am I the only one that thinks that the models advertising mascara are wearing false lashes? ?
It just seems to me like they look like false lashes. If they are, then they should advertise lashes instead of mascara.Am I the only one that thinks that the models advertising mascara are wearing false lashes? ?
They're all wearing false lashes. Don't fall for the hype. 2DAm I the only one that thinks that the models advertising mascara are wearing false lashes? ?
I've noticed that too. I don't wear fake lashes or too much makeup, even though I think I would look more attractive if I did. I like to keep things natural, so that the times I'm not wearing makeup (especially when I'm married someday and my husband sees me all natural without the smallest drop of makeup), people won't have to think, ';Wow, where's her makeup?? She looks so different without it!'; I've seen makeup queens slip up and not have time to put on their makeup (and fake lashes) for the day and I have had those exact thoughts!
You're absolutely not, I agree.. and there was recently an upset about that, Penelope Cruz wore falsies while advertising a mascara. L'Oreal said that they never said she wasn't, but people said that the ad was misleading.. it goes to show, they've openly said they use false lashes!
xx
I totally agree with you! Its kinda false advertising if you ask me. Sure they are advertising the mascara, but they apply the fake lashes first and then put the mascara on the fake ones. They should just advertise the lashes or the mascara, or both, that way they don't have to lie.
In the UK, there is now a rule (maybe law) that says if eyelashes, hair, nails, etc etc are being advertised on TV, there needs to be a small print to say for example, 'styled using lash inserts' or 'hair styled using some natural hair extensions'. It only recently started being shown, and I agree with you completely.
oh my god -- they are sooooooo fake -- I've been on the set of lots of commercials and photo shoots and believe me -- not much on those girls is real. I'm not saying that those girls aren't beautiful in real life -- they just don't look anything like you see on the commericials and their eyelashes are -- well for lack of a better word -- normal.
This really annoys me. You can never tell how good the mascara really is and yes alot of the time in small writing at the bottom of the screen it says: ';eyelash extensions'; or ';fake eyelashes used';.
It's dumb
they aree! haha its pretty but does this look real? http://shinymedia.headshift.com/kissandm鈥?/a>
nopee =) haha very pretty though!
Almost all ads are ';touched up'; with computer software
if they aren't wearing false lashes often its CGI so re the perfect lips etc.
The most def are lol...like the lash blast commercial.

I agree - I think they have on false eyelashes to which they then apply the mascara.
hi,
I agree with you 100%!! yes they do wear false lashes to thicken/make their lashes look fuller.
Sucks i know!..

Totally agree! Anyone who has perfect eyelashes, is a phony!! They are fake, fake, fake!!!
Yes, they are wearing fake eyelashes
It's editing.

well duh there are

obviously
they probably are fake just like their hair and everything else

wait to dry and finish with one last coat to the top.

Get Kiss Me mascara by Blinc. It outs little tubes on your lashes so even the light bits at the ends are covered.
It's awesome:)
I don't know about vaseline making your eyelashes look longer, I heard that olive oil makes them grow but I doubt it.
Wiggle the brush through at the base of the lashes, which makes them look fuller, but i find that it also makes them look longer.

wait to dry and finish with one last coat to the top.
sorry if im a bit confusing.

Neutrogena Lash Tint nourishes lashes so over time they get thicker and longer, and the immediate look is great too! It's about $7.00 at most drugstores, walmart or target!
Does anyone know of any makeup brands that carry brown mascara?
Other than AVON Products? Stores usually just have brownish black or black. I'm looking for just plain brown. Thanks!Does anyone know of any makeup brands that carry brown mascara?

Elizabeth Arden
Estee Lauder
You can find these brands at Holt Renfrew or other big department stores in the cosmetic department.
Rimmel does, and there's loads of different types so there good.
Also, ARTDECO does, there brilliant mascaras altogether .
check out some of the larger Target stores. Maybelline has a large number and they good quality mascaras. After all, we toss them after a few months because of the bacteria buildup - use a coupon too!

Should i use my eyelash curler after or before applying mascara?
what works for you? also, how long do i hold down the curler?Should i use my eyelash curler after or before applying mascara?
Before.Should i use my eyelash curler after or before applying mascara?
before and hold it for about 10 seconds
I use it before. When you use it afterwards, you tend to get clumps. As for the length of time, I usually do about ten seconds per eye. :)
b4 defianeltly
the mascara is wet so it would dirty the eyelash curler
No, your curler will get mascara all over it, and it will smear the mascara.
definetly do it before, because if you dont then you may pull out some of your eyelashes, it happened to me because it was to sticky with the eyelash curler, and i hold it down for 10 seconds, and then apply maybelline great lash mascara (it is the bomb digity.lol)
hope i helped! =))
depends if you want a really heavy curl do it after if you want a more natural curl do it before i hold it for 5 seconds
before not after
Before. I warm the curler with a blow drier and then use it. It makes a much nicer curl, and I hold it down for just about ten seconds.
Unless you want your eyelash curler so gunked up you can't use it again, you use it BEFORE you apply mascara. And it only takes a few seconds. Holding it any longer won't make your lashes any more curly.
before, otherwise you might clump up the mascara you've already applied
After, or else you'll uncurl your...WAIT! WHY AM I ANSWERING THIS QUESTION?!?!? I HAVE A PEN!S!!!
I use my curler after I put on my mascara. It said on the curler box to use it after cause it will stay curled longer because the mascara keeps it stiff. Also, I hold it down for about 10 to 15 seconds.
if you want extra curly eyes you do it before then appl yyour mascra then curl after it does get your curler a little bit messy but it is totally worth it it looks really nice:)
You should do it before because if you do it after it will smear. Maybe hold it for about 10 seconds.
first apply mascara (wait 5 min) then curl then apply mascara again
it works for me and last all day
from6 am to 10 @ night
but make sure you blow curler with hot hairdryer
then hold curler for 8-15 seconds
I believe before. be too messy afterwards.
how can u use those things anyway? i always pinch the beejeezes out of my eyelid, or poke myself in the eye..
then again, i don't have much to curl..
before.
After it holds better
yes before i also do this if you curl your lashes first it is easier to apply the mascara after
before because if you use it after it can break your eylashs, make you eyes look messy and screw up your makeup!
b4 not after cause then it will get all messed up and dark and smudgey!
I use it before. I don't want my mascara to run. hold it down for 30 seconds for a natural upturned eyelash effect.
Before... after will make your eyelashes stick together. I count to 20: 1-1000, 2-1000, 3-1000... yeah, seems a little more foolish when I say it outloud!
BEFORE.
You could break lashes if you curl them after your mascara has dried.
You use it just after you apply the mascara. The drying mascara helps to hold the curl in the lashes. If you curl before you apply you have a good chance of pulling the curl out of the lash when you apply the mascara.
b4
use it before. Curl for ab 10 seconds and pump it gently for about 10 seconds. If you use mascara sparingly you can use it after too, but be careful. You dont want to break your lashes. Mascara makes your lashes pretty delicate. I hope i could help out!
do it before umm a few seconds
dude, do both at the SAME time, works for me
AFTER or else it wouldn't hold!

What brand of mascara should I get?
I have some mascara but I don't like to wear it because it clumps my lashes together. I have long lashes and I want to show them off with a mascara that will make them fuller and not clump! Thanks! What brand of mascara should I get?
Lash Blast by cover girl!
here is me wearing it.. i love it.. makes lashes soft not stiff
these r my real eyelashes.. i am on the left What brand of mascara should I get?
volume express by mabeline is great! it makes your eyelashes really full and shows of the length. plus they aren't clumpy and the mascara doesn't flake off durring the day like a lot of other volumizing mascera's do.
Try Maybelline Hypercurl Volume express mascara . Like any mascara application ; always wiggle the wand in a zig motion when applying.
LASH BLAST by COVERGIRL definitely!! I tried it and I love it I use it all the time..I have very long lashes too people always think they are fake but they're real and the mascara really makes them look even better
I too have long lashes, and found that Volume Express and Great Lash by Mabelline (the pink and green tube),
and Lancome Definicils are wonderful making them nice and full.
maybellene newyork
rimmel london?

Yeah, it depends what works for you, you should try some different brands. I've tried the Maybelline one and it worked for me, theres also a covergirl one that i liked, i dont know the name at the moment. Report Abuse
M.A.C. Plushlash is the the best mascara I have found! It gives you amazing volume without clumps while leaving your lashes silky to the touch. Not to mention it doesn't flake at all, like most drugstore brands I've used. The curl stays all day and makes my short lashes look gorgeous, elegant and lengthy. Best of all, it is only $11 and is the one thing in my makeup kit I could never live without!
omg my favorite mascara of all time is sexy curves by rimmel london. it doesnt dry out as fast as the orange fat tube one. i forgot what its called haha. i think its by cover girl. my friends like to take out my mascara wands to see what the shapes are so this is also lasts longer haha. i would definitely recommend it lol it also comes in this new turquoise blue thats waterproof.

Whats the best mascara for big, non clumpy eyelashes?
I really love big eyelashes, but i dont have them. Does anybody have a mascara wich makes them bigger?Whats the best mascara for big, non clumpy eyelashes?
Start with Lancome Cils Booster XL Super-Enhancing Mascara Base ($20) and then use YSL Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils ($26), luxurious mascara for a false lash effect. I've tried it all and this combination truly works.
Clumps occur when you go over the lashes with more than one application. If you use a base, which has a different texture than the actual mascara, first, then go over it with the mascara, you wont have to reapply the mascara. The base acts like a primer, but also adds thickness. Your mascara will then add length and so your lashes will look thick and long, but without lumps or clumps.
Using the base and mascara everyday will last you at least 6 weeks. Enjoy!Whats the best mascara for big, non clumpy eyelashes?
Bee-Luscious has an awesome mascara called HD Mascara. Try it you will love it. I found it at www.beeroyalproducts.com. I read about it on YA and gave it a try. Glad I did. It is now one of my ';must haves';.
shoot i forget the name... i think it's maybalene!! it has the green bottom and a pink top! OMG IT WORKS REALLY GREAT!!!!! and NO CLUMPS!!
Extra volune mascara water proof is the best one from LO'REAL.
What you want to try to look for is a mascara applicator brush that is small. Nothing too big, otherwise you risk making more clumps with it. The brand I use is Lash Stylist by Mayebelline. The applicator is wicked small, but efficient.
It is also a good idea to apply the mascara slowly on your eyelashes--making sure that it goes on smoothly. You can also make two coats of mascara to add a little more ';oomph.'; And if you do mess up, you can use an eyelash comb to get rid of clumps.
And just to add one more thing: if you have a fair complexion with light hair, it may not be a good idea to go for black. Jet brown would be a better alternative. But, if you do have a darker complexion that can pull it off, then go for black.
i think AVON mascara work good i love it
It doesnt really matter what brand you get but I would reccomend something waterproof and with a small brush on the end. The small brush is what makes it not clumpy because it gets in between all the eyelashes. If you want your eyelashes to be really dark then make sure you get black and do a second coat! The link below is the kind of brush I am talking about.

I all ready know I want a kind that will make my lashes longer, thicker, less clumpy, and in the color black... if you could include the brand and name of the mascara that would be greatly appreciated =] thanks in advanceWhats the best mascara you have ever used?
Panoramic Curl by Loreal.Whats the best mascara you have ever used?

I use loreal voluminous, and chanel inimitable.
I would have to say Great Lash in the pink and green tube. The mascara can give you what ever look youre looking for wether its soft, subtle lashes, or big dramatic lashes! To achieve a more dramatic look just apply sevral coats. They were also voted best mascara by allure magazine!
Diorshow Waterproof in Noir; this mascara might be pricey but will last you FOREVER and a little goes a looooong way. It never clumps, smudged, and it's waterproof and gives the appearence of false eyelashes. You only need to apply one coat and your lashes will look AMAZING, clump-free, dramatic, and a deep ebony black. And it never smudges and lasted me 11 hours.

big fatty mascara by urban decay is the best. you can buy it at sephora and it's pretty expensive but totally worth it! it makes your natural lashes look like falsies as they say,and it really does!
Max Factor Lash Perfection in Soft Black
Max Factor is amazing! Be careful of the waterproof kind though...it really is waterproof. Also I like Super Thick Lash from covergirl, it's really good for thickness which I like and you can use it for length to, all you have to do is start at the very roots of your lashes and work your way up. An eyelash curler never hurts either! (Remeber 3 pumps, one at the roots, one in the middle and one at the tips.)

When do eyeshadow, mascara, and eyeliner expire?
I've had some older makeup laying around and I was wondering if makeup is like food, when in doubt, throw it out? When do eyeshadow, mascara, and eyeliner expire?
I know that you're supposed to replace mascara about every 6 months, so that too many germs don't build up. I would guess that it's the same with eyeliner, because you don't want to keep putting germs back around your eyes! If you put the foundation on with the same brush every time, I would throw it out. But if you use disposable make up applicators, you could probably keep it.
Don't know about the vitamins! When do eyeshadow, mascara, and eyeliner expire?
Those things don't really expire, they run out.
THEY EXPIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! replace them every 6-5 months!

it edges kind of towards the dramatic side if you put on multiple coats, but it stays on forever. if you're in school, your eyelashes will look the same when you get home as when you get to school.
hope i helped. :3
Lash blast is great. 1 coat might look natural, but it doesn't really curl.
Lancome's defincils is the best mascara out there if you have $20 to spend on it.
defintatly lashblast!!!! but if you have asian eyelashs tiy really want to curl the heck out of them before you apply mascara. hope this helped
lash blast is pretty good. so is the maybelline one, great lash.
Lash Blast
lash blast is really good
What kind of mascara should i try?
I use ';the COLOSSAL VOLUM' EXPRESS'; (MAYBELLINE NEW YORK)
It works great the first few days after I buy it, but later on it makes my eyelashes stick together with big clumps!!! :(
Any suggestions? It could be water proof or not. What kind of mascara should i try?
i recommend a mascara that has natural ingredients. look up al mascaras on
www.cosmeticdatabase.com
here you can see whether it (maybelline colossal) has low or high hazard of safety based on the bad chemicals it contains. What kind of mascara should i try?
Thank you for choosing my answer as best. It is important to know the chemicals in makeup that can affect your health, especially in mascara, something that is so close to your eye. Good luck :) Report Abuse
You should try Big Fatty Mascara by Urban Decay(ik,it sounds insulting but its fantastic!) you can find it at sephora or ulta.the reason they call it that and the reason for the funky design is because in the 80's they had big hair and lashes.
http://www.urbandecay.com/categories/Big鈥?/a>
But if u want something a little cheaper try Lash Blast by Cover Girl.or use Rimmel London mascara (the one with the crown on the top).
Also, waterproof drys out your eyelashes and makes them fall out!eek!
and if you find that the non-waterproof is sticky and hard to dry stand in front of the fan for 30 seconds%26lt;3
Lash blast works awesome for me :) it really makes a huge difference and i love it! im going to try these due to great reviews: exact eyelights b/c it's supposed to help enhance eye color [which it does in NATURAL light] it really opens up your eyes they look so pretty separated and long :) and i want to try loreal CLEAN DEFINITION telescopic [silver tube not gold!] people say they don't like loreals mascara but this seems so different it doesn't dry out as fast as others and it really defines and lengthens! :D so there's my two cents-good luck! :)
ok, before wanting to try a new one
clean your wand...put it under warm water and use the cleanser you use for your face to clean it. then rinse off with cold.
-do once every week
If that doesn't work, your mascara could be getting dry
-always close it very tightly
-don't push your wand in and out in and out if the tube excessively, this pushes air innto it, speeding up the drying process
I use Great Lash, w/ the curved brush, its very smooth and it's almost like it conditions my eyelashes.
Hope I helped!
I kept my Colossal brush, threw out the mascara, and bought Great Lash, which is the best and threw away it's brush and used the clean Colossal brush. Works great, try it now, right now!!
i use ';almay one coat'; and it works pretty good
you can also comb your eyelashes through with an eyebrow brush after applying mascara to separate your lashes
lashblast. its a big orange tube, you cant miss it. i love it so much. it makes them super big, and seperates them with a really good brush.
lash blast and/or lash stiletto

waterproof is bad for your eyelashes. eventually they'll all fall out from scrubbing or whatever. at least that's what i heard.
Haha, I was actually just about to recommend that.
Try lash blast by covergirl?
I've found that waterproof is a lot better than the other one, btw!
Go to Sephora and ask the ladies there what they recommend for you. Sephora carries very good mascaras.
Avon has alot of eyeliner. You can check out my website www.youravon.com/tiffanyfleming you can have it shipped to your own home for cheap

When I put mascara on, it only covers part of the lashes-- the front. What do I do?
I have very blonde lashes, and when I put mascara on it coats the front but the ';back side'; stays blonde. So it looks weird. How do you get it 360 degrees around the lashes? When I put mascara on, it only covers part of the lashes-- the front. What do I do?
get the kind of mascara brush that theres like a curve in the middle and then you just zig zag it through your lashes. I use this teqnique or you can just use regurly and close your eyes and put the mascara on the roots. wtf ellens on the radio?? Haaa! When I put mascara on, it only covers part of the lashes-- the front. What do I do?
First off make sure that your mascara tube isn't dry and has plenty of flowy mascara in it. Secondly make sure the mascara wand is heavily coated with mascara( but not too much as it might cause clumps.) The next part is how to apply your mascara, there's are too very simplistic methods, #1 is to tilt your head back and just wiggle the mascara wand through all your lashes until everything is coated, #2 is to keep you mascara wand still and gently blink your lashes right into it. If you find that these tips don't work try checking youtube tutorials on mascara application, I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for. Also, are you using brown or black mascara because the color of it also can effect the application process along with the ending results. Black mascara is always best to use because it's so versitile. Best of luck.
Put your mascara wand resting just under your bottom eyelashes in the middle of your eye (close your eye) and just wiggle your head (or the wand) and it should cover them all. Then just move it a little to the left and the right and do the same. And then get a wet wipe and remove any bits of mascara that didn't make it onto your eyelashes. xD
Make sure you have a good mascara,
and put it on both side of your lashes.
You can put mascara on the back of your lashes, a lot of people do.
Put it on the back first and then on the front so your eyelashes are still curly.
This should completely cover them.
I apply my mascara from both directions, apply from the back first because it tends to curl the lashes downwards and then apply like you normally would which will curl them back up. Just practice first, it takes a couple tries to get the hang of it!
just try to make the mascara brush to reach ur deep roots of ur lashes..
like to apply it while trying to penetrate in between ur lashes..
choose a brush thats easy to use and to control ..
You should go to a salon and get your eyelashes tinted and you wouldn't even need mascara:)
Simple, take the brush and coat the back of it. Just brush down.
put the brush closer to your eyelids..or cover those spots wit liquid eyeliner

Whats the best mascara to you and why?
I think its Estee Lauder Magna Scopic because it gives the most volume out of all the mascaras i've tried. I like it better than Great Lash and Lancome Hypnose.Whats the best mascara to you and why?
your right...............
Try mascara from M.A.C ,, it is goodWhats the best mascara to you and why?
Hands down the best to use is Covergirl Lash Exact. It coats each and every one of your lashes very nicely in only a couple of swipes. The brush is very unique and the product does do what it says it will. I get no clumps what-so-ever and it's not expensive either.
I also like Bourjois pump-up the volume mascara if I'm going out somewhere special. It coats them rather well and you can choose between waterproof or not.
Long ago I like the Maybelline twister one dialer. The more you dialed on the more mascara was ready to clump on the brush more thoughouly.
2nd also made my Maybelline is had a white body and a gold cap. Made with mink oil. It mostly colored the lashes darker, not much lentth added on. Or just a bit. For us people with long lashes already.
I really like Estee Lauder Brown bottle night lotion! So good, it likes rejuvenates my skin overnight. Puts back moisture, helps heal bad areas. Like pick at a zit. Wish it was fragrance free!
Anything by MAC is awesome.
I like Rimmel to tell you the truth, which is kind of weird cause I normally prefer more expensive makeup.
I have used all the expensive stuff, and although I love the lancome extensils, My favortie is Loreal Volumounous.
My favorite is Maybelline Volum' Express. It goes on non-clumpy and I only need one coat.
i use loreal double extend, waterproof, hydrofuge. I love this mascara because it is the only one that is truly waterproof and smudge proof.
I like Mabelines Volume express. It thickens and makes them look longer. Believe me, I have tried many.
i would get avon i love it it makes your eyes stand out a lot and use a little bit of eye liner to if you wont .
lancome defincials and maxfactor morelashes together look great
my old favorite - lancome definicils.....but my new fave is this one from mac
I'm on my husbands profile here so I am 30 and I very much am In to glam and bling I would say Rimmel comb mascara it gives top lash allusion of false lash..........very sexy. It really works. I've tried everything.......

L'Oreal's Voluminous - helps my skimpy eyelashes (chemo wiped them out) looked oomphy %26amp; glamorous.
Here's what I've found makes a mascara good. You either just top off the tube with a top not a brush; or you clean your brush really good once a week. Also don't pump the brush in and out to get the mascara out, put the brush in and twist it back and forth.
victoria's secret black mascara goes for miles and it costs $9. its worth it cuz it makes your lashes look thick and long
i really like cover girl's lash exact mascara because the brush prevents clumping, so you don't have that ';tarantula'; look. also, the formula is nice because it doesn't smear easily but washes off effortlessly with soap and water.

mary kay ultimate mascara is definatly the best. it doesnt clump nd makes your lashes look so full, I LOVE IT!!!
mm i would have to say dior. because personally it has the most volume, and it doesnt get clumpy. and clinque would be good too. actually my mom works there and they studying alot about their make-up and it actually does not give big clumps. urban decay would look very cute. to me thats my favortie brand they also have different colors!
Right now I am using Maybelline Full and Soft....so far I love it...gives my lashes some length and no clumping so it gives me a more natural looking lash.
I have used Loreal Volumunious. It has worked better than any of the other fancy brands I've dried. I don't get lumps and my lashes look perfect, separated every time.
I love the Dior mascara but its expensive..to be honest, the mascara that works BEST for me is Maybelline XXL in brown black..it makes my lashes SO long and seperated I get compliments all the time!

What do you think of the YSL false cils mascara?
Do you like it? If not, what do you prefer? What do you think of the YSL false cils mascara?
I recently got given Blinc's Kiss Me Mascara as a gift, and I am really amazed! I'd recommend it to anyone. Its different to normal mascaras, it forma tiny water-resistant tubes around your lashes - you have to try it to believe it!What do you think of the YSL false cils mascara?
i am a big fan of este茅 lauder make up products. i think lash illusionist is amazing.
I purchased Yves Saint Laurent Volume Mascara(black) in hope of the false lash look. First off, I'm not going to tell you that ';it is the best mascara out on the market'; or ';it is the worse mascara on the market';. Rather, I will tell you some positive features and benefits of this product and also any negative and you decide if these appeal to you.
If you're looking for volume in your lashes, I would rate this product an 8. Indeed, it will give you some volume. It did mine and my lashes are pretty limpy. I find that other products out there have given my lashes more volume, but those tend to cause clumps. This mascara can be classified as giving your lashes clean volume.
If you're looking for lengthening, I do not recommend this product. I didn't notice any difference in length of my lashes through my application.
If you're looking for a product that won't cause any clumps, this product is something to consider. I didn't notice any spidery lashes, clumps, or any dry mascara particles under my eyes.
One benefit of this product that caught my eye (or eyelashes), was that it held my curl. I find a lot of mascaras make my lashes droop back down after curling my lashes with a Shu Uemura curler. No matter how much curl I have, some mascaras will cause my lashes to fall stick straight again. With YSL Volume mascara, it stays curled so I don't have to curl it again after applying mascara. For this reason, I have rated this product an 8.5. It's hard to find mascaras (even the expensive ones) that'll offer this benefit.
As far as how long the mascara lasts, I cannot make an opinion about that since I bought it only yesterday. It came with directions that suggested to wipe the mascara clean weekly to avoid any drying of the formula.
So, if you find that you want volume and no clumps - get it. If you want something lengthening - don't purchase it. If you think you'll get that false lash look effect, it will give that to some extent. Just don't expect your lashes to look like that model's lashes on it's advertising campaign.
I asked the very same question a couple of weeks ago! It is good although you require a few coats and I'm not sure if its the false lash effect that you get. I wear false lashes when I go out and the effect is nowhere near the same.
I found that it has dried out very quickly already. Only had it 2 weeks and already starting to become empty.
Its worth a try though, you might really like it. Its defo one of the best I've used, along with Benefit's Bad Lash Gal and Dior Show!
Have fun!!!! xxxx
its ok, gives you nice lashes, it goes quite clumpy quickly, ive tried all kinds, dior show, but that did the same, lancome hypnose is really nice, the new chanel with the rubber brush is great but expesnsive. the best one ive found recently is max factor master piece, its got the same kind of brush as the chanel one but half the price, give that a go!!!!
huh?

Im about to get mascara in a few hours but which one is clump-free cause i always end up getting clumpy ones and makes your eeys appear bigger? What type of mascara is clump-free and best at making your eyes appear bigger?
Drugstore brand:
Rimmel Extra Super Lash
or
Maybelline Full and Soft

Christian Dior Diorshow

Here are my favorites that don't clump %26amp; lengthen %26amp; volumize well :
- Covergirl Fantastic Lash
- L'Oreal Voluminous
- Maybelline Define-A-Lash
It isn't really the mascara that will make your eyes appear bigger...you have to curl them to get that effect. Having said that though, anything from Lancome is usually pretty good.
There is this really good one by Neutrogena called Neutrogena庐 Clean Lash Tint and it works really well!

What eyeliner and mascara WILL NOT smudge under any circumstance?
I am in a wedding, and I feel like everything I try makes me look like a racoon an hour later (even though I never line or use mascara on the bottom). I would like to avoid department store brands if possible, as they can be a little pricey, but let me know what has worked for you! What eyeliner and mascara WILL NOT smudge under any circumstance?
At Target for $1.00 i bought some clear mascara that makes ur eyelashes longer and thicker but it will not make u look like a racoon i promise lol. good-luck!What eyeliner and mascara WILL NOT smudge under any circumstance?
waterproof mascara and liquid eyeliner
for my mascara i use rimmel london extra super lash (waterproof). it's great for short, thin lashes. and for eyeliner i use rimmel london soft kohl kajal eye pencil. it goes on easy and stays on long. and each of them are like 2 or 3 bucks.
well, you can try prepping your lids with concealer before you apply eye makeup, that will give your eyeliner something to grab on to. as for your mascara, use lash exact waterproof mascara, it will NEVER come off. I went to the beach with it on and i still had perfect lashes, no smudges after.
none get the clear mascara that way if it smudges u cant see it . it looks as if you have black on. eyeliner i cant halp you with
The same brands that Cleopatra used.....think it was Revlon maybe?
I know you said no deparment stores but its not that much higher
Try Merle Norman instead
I believe my eyeliner was $8 bucks and the mascara was $16. Not bad to not look like a racoon in the middle of a wedding.
Also you only have to get those to pieces there.. The rest go to rite aid.
Revlon Colorstay eyeliner or Styli Style Line and Seal eyeliner. For mascara, try Maybelline Lash Expansion in waterproof formula.
Fluidline by mac its a great eyeliner iv worn this for 3 days straight no smudges.
Waterproof mascara has worked for me. The maybelline XXL is the one i use. I don't know about eyeliner, though.
there is this product called shelaq (i think that's how its spelled) its by benefit. it seals in mascara, lipstick, eyeshadow etc etc etc. its great. you can use any mascara or make up on the face and then use shelaq over it. it comes with all kinds of brushes for your eye. i have been using it for a year and its great...
waterproof mascara and liquid eyeliner!
i found my mascara! it s been 3 years i use the same, its wicked, and make your eyes look stunning, and your eye lashes look so much longer....and the name is ..... and the price is....
Max Factor ';more lashes'; for 拢8.59. but it s worth it! go on!
Liquid eyeliner... Just be sure your make-up artist knows how to really work it...
Other make-up artists use black eyeshadow as their eyeliner...they use a wetbrush and dip it in the eyeshadow..
Try a waterproof mascara or some clear mascara...
I have very deep set eyes, and liner always smears. I have used Styli-style's pencil eyeliner recently and had excellent results. They also have a liquid which stays on until you take it off. I also use Loreal VolumeShocking mascara in the waterproof format. They can both be purchased at CVS pharmacies, or online. Styli-Style has a web page Styli-style.com, or you can visit cosmeticmall.com. They are connected. Good luck!
I had that problem in the past too. For eyeliner, I recommend Mary Kay's and for mascara try buying waterproof ones. They tend to smudge a lot less than regular ones. Good LUck!

How can I make my eyelashes get longer (Without Mascara)?
I have heard that Vaseline and Castor oil will help increase the length of my eyelashes. But I do not think that either sounds very safe.
1) Are either of those Methods Safe.
2) Do Either of those Methods Work.
3) Are there any other methods that can work.
(Please don't Say Mascara of Falsies either, those don't make them GROW, they just change the appearance)How can I make my eyelashes get longer (Without Mascara)?
Vaseline and castor oil probably just nourish them and make them look healthy.
I have heard that there is a ';jan marini'; eyelash product that is amazing. Costs about $160 though...
Unfortunately there is nothing you can do to make them grow longer as the length is geneticHow can I make my eyelashes get longer (Without Mascara)?
I use a product called Revitalash- It works for me and everyone else I know. You put it on once a day before you go to bed and you will definately see a difference after a couple of weeks. you'll see that it will grow fuller and longer.
The down sides that it's quite expensive and there is that one possibility that it won't work for you.
There are other products similar to Revitalash, but I don't remember what it is.
My grandma once told me to use castor oil on my eye lashes every night before i go to sleep, and I noticed a difference but months later.. Just make sure they dont get into your eye
I have glaucoma, a hereditary eye problem for which I must use bimatoprost ophthalmic solution. I AM NOT RECOMMENDING that you use this, but it has changed the colour of my eyes and made my eyelashes grow longer -- they are about 1cm long now -- and the envy of every girl that sees them.

What color eyeliner/mascara should a girl with blue eyes use? (black or brown)?
I have football shaped eye pretty much, and should i wear it on both top and bottom? What color eyeliner/mascara should a girl with blue eyes use? (black or brown)?
You have Cat Eyes!!!! Good for you! Depending on your skin tone and hair color....if you are a blonde or red head wear brown eyeliner and black mascara. If you are a brunette you can wear either color and black or brown mascara. I love black mascara because it is a staple classic. You can try out your eyeliner in different ways and see what you like the most. Just be careful that if you are in high school to not make it heavey. Let me know your age group. I will be able to help you better. :)What color eyeliner/mascara should a girl with blue eyes use? (black or brown)?
Brown is the colour that makes blue eyes pop! But, surprisingly, blue mascara looks fantastic with blue eyes, try it!

Is it worth getting my eyelashes dyed/recommend mascara?
I wear glasses and don't wear much make-up but would like to wear mascara. However, I find that as the day progresses, I often get a greasy build up on my glasses and my mascara smudges. I was wondering whether the best answer would be to get my eye-lashes dyed every so often to avoid this, or is there a really good smudge proof mascara someone could recommend please? Is it worth getting my eyelashes dyed/recommend mascara?
Almost any GOOD cosmetic company (like Maybelline) makes a GOOD smudge-proof mascara.
As for ';dying'; your eyelashes. . . .I WOULDN'T recommend it. Eyelashes fall-out and replace themselves just like hair does ! Besides, using dye so close to the eyeball is RISKY. I think your VISION is more important. Is it worth getting my eyelashes dyed/recommend mascara?
yes getting your lashes tinted is prolly the best thing instead of constantly applying mascara. and you dont even need to worry about washing it off. the tint usually lasts for me about 3 weeks or more.
Hahahaha i have the same thing.
I have had my eyelashes tinted before and i think they look so good because theres no clumps and looks naturally and perfect :)

Why r my undereyes dark after i put mascara?
i need help with my mascara problems. i put some on and later on in the day (2-3 hours) it will end up under my eyes and form really dark circles. i switched to waterproof mascara but there was no difference... what do i do?Why r my undereyes dark after i put mascara?
your mascara has smudged.
waterproof doesnt necessary means smudge-proof while smudge-proof doesnt necessary means waterproof.
if you have oily eye area, try to apply an EYE PRIMER prior to any eye make up. it'll help your make up to stay on longer. i used to use maybelline turbo boost and it gave me panda eyes at the end of the day while many of my friends swear that it's 100% smudge proof for them. now i'm using fasio and it's good enough for me.Why r my undereyes dark after i put mascara?
try using a makeup primer before you put on any makeup. it's safe to use even in your eye area. it prevents smears and smudges and holds liquid and color makeup in place. plus it minizmizes the appearane of fine lines, blemishes and pores. (yay!) mac, smashbox, sephora and ulta...they all have the really great ones. but try walmart, it could say foundation primer or makeup primer. or base.
Hmm i really dont understand why..
but put on primer to help stop it.
and also if you find that doesnt work, try hairspraying your face.
i know that sounds idiotic but it seriously works for me! none of my makeup smears or goes anywhere. :) just make sure you dont get any in the eyes
xx
Mmmh maybe your eyelashes just don't like mascara!!! But you're the boss so you're gonna have to find a way to make it stick! Try a primer or invest in a department sore waterproof mascara. You actually have to try hard to get it off! lol
Good luck!
try a different brand and put concealer under your eyes it helps just make sure your not rubbing your eyes a lot because that could be the cause of all of this:) good luck
maybe youre smearing your mascara on accident??

Suggestions on mascara for trichotillomania sufferers?
I have trichotillomania, and I've tried several different mascaras. Some make the pulling out my eyelashes worse, some are great for covering gaps. But if I find out that helps cover thin spots, it normally makes it worse. So I need a mascara that thickens, lengthens, and doesn't make pulling more tempting.Suggestions on mascara for trichotillomania sufferers?

How does mascara affect your eyes?
If mascara and eyeliner is worn, does anything happen if it goes into your eye. For instance, your either putting mascara on or taking it off and if it rubs into your eyes, does it have any affect either long term or short, and if so, what are those affects? How does mascara affect your eyes?
i'm not sure about your eyes, but it does make your eyelashes fall out. girls that wear mascara will probably laugh at my answer, but after a while you start losing eyelashes, and when you put more mascara on it makes it look like you just have 4 eyelashes, it's not very attractive.
thanks for the thumbs down. How does mascara affect your eyes?
only eyeliner can hurt your eyes but mascara is alright my mom has been a make up artist for about 15 maybe 16 years now so trust me i no about this stuff im not even aloud to wear eyeliner... or using someone Else's eyeliner/mascara can give you pink eye.. just be careful
well i think it is different for everybody. i am very clumsy and get it into my eyes a lot haha sometime my eye just waters a ton, but one time it puffed up a little lol
it burns for about 3 senconds and my eyes water
but if i blink like mad it usually stops and i forget about it
by the time i've finished my other eye.
I doubt it, it may just temporarily irritate your eyes. I've been wearing mascara for over 12 years now, wear contacts and tub my eyes quite frequently- nothing happened yet.
If you DON'T remove it from your eyes everyday, it will eventually burn off all of of your lashes.
Remove make up every single night.
no long term problems with mascara unless you actually poke your self in the eye severely other wise you will be fine.
it may make your vision go blurry for a few minutes but other than that it's formulated so it doesn't damage your eyes. :]
dont wear mascara, i dont understand why girls put this ink stuff on their eyes it's a turn off.
if you don't take it off, it can make your eyelashes shorter :)
my eyes are always the same afterwards
it'll just be red %26amp; irritated for a little while.
no big problem
yea it does
it does... but not if you remove every night before you go to bed

Girls, which mascara do you think is better?
I just bought some clear mascara. I was stuck between choosing the black/brown waterproof that makes lashes look thicker, or the clear plain mascara that doesn't say is water proof.
I figured I would go with the clear since I almost always get mascara on my lids, and if I do get my eyes wet, then you wouldn't be able to see it running. But I thought that maybe it doesn't show up on the eyelashes as much as colored mascara.
So what's your opinion? Colored mascara or clear? Pros and cons?Girls, which mascara do you think is better?
BLACK or BROWN..use covergirlGirls, which mascara do you think is better?
I use cover girl mascara, the brown color. It is waterproof, so if your eyes get wet it wont run. I never used the clear mascara before. But if you are caucasian i would suggest a brown mascara, the black is too dark. But if you like the clear then I say stick with it! Essentially it is up to you, they are your eyelashes.
I would say colored mascara thats waterproof because it wouldd give your eyes more definition and your lashes more volume but then again I would say clear because if you were to ever start crying then you most likely wouldn't have black streaks running down your face like you said before and it wouldnt smear across your face if you rubbed your eyes because nobody would be able to tell.
I love mascara. I've tried a bunch of different kinds and I love maybelline brand mascaras. I usually use waterproof so that I don't end up having raccoon eyes by the end of the day. lol. Colossol or Double ended XXL are my faves.
It depens what you want......... thick go with extenions or colored i think from my exprairions water proff make a differents in thinckiness .......... for thinner clear. It also depens on you. Your water ness of the eyes all that.
clear doesn't do too much. i like the colored stuff better but i always use black/black or very black. the new cover girl lash blast in the orange tube works really well it adds tons of volume and separates.
I guess it depends on which look you like better.
My friend uses clear mascara and it gives your lashes a more natural look, but I preferably would choose colored (black) mascara over clear ones.
black mascara is the best, just get good practise to not get it on your lids, i know this sounds pretty obvious. but clear mascara isnt have as nice as black thickenisng of volumising. x
I think coloured mascara is better than clear. There are so many colours out black, brown, blue. It depends what your eye colour is.
clear mascara is 100% pointless on lashes. i only use it on brows.
colored.... i dont see the point of clear.

Can old mascara make your eyes sore?
I wear contacts. I dont know if its the contacts or if my mascara is too old. Any ideas? Can old mascara make your eyes sore?
Yes, old mascara can irritate your eyes. The older your makeup is the more bacteria it will collect. Also, when your makeup gets old, it looses its ';magic'; and in return its natural results can be horrible. Its like drinking milk thats been out for a week. One can only imagine the after effect.
I suggest replacing your mascara every 2-3 months or when it starts getting dry and hard to use.Can old mascara make your eyes sore?
Yes but it can also leave it swollen from the bacteria that can build in the mascara or mascara brush. i probably wouldn't use it if I were you.
If your mascara is older than six months, toss it. Bacteria grows in the tube so you should change it every six months. Mascara is cheap enough, especially with a coupon, so why take a chance on an eye infection?
yes it can make you very sick and eventually you could lose some vision.
yes, you can get a bacterial infection in your eyes.
Usually when I have sore eyes it means that there is either a small rip in my contact or it is just time to change them. Were your eyes sore before you put your contacts in?? If so, then it is probably best to give your eyes a rest and if it persits then you should see a doctor.
Generally old mascara can be bad because it doesn't come off as easily and the ';scrubbing'; on sore eyes will only make it worse.
I'd be safe and get new stuff all together.
Yes
It can give you a serious eye infections. Throw it out. You should throw out mascara after 3 months because bacteria builds up and can cause infections and other eye problems.
First, it wouldn't hurt to change your contacts out.
Mascara can most definitely make your eyes sore. If it has passed it's self life, it could have bacteria in it which is easily passed to your eyes.
Buy new mascara! Or at least stop using your old mascara.
I hope your eyes feel better.
yeh depends on how much u wear and how gd ur mascara is,use a small amount and when u hav dsays off dont wear alot of makup and then ur skin and eyes will look better
yeah if its over like 6 months old throw it out and get new mascara.
no, i just found my old mascara from a year ago and I used it because I was in a hurry. It was fine, i think it's your contact. Change the water, or get a different brand.
if your eyes don't hurt before you put the mascara on then it's the mascara. i wear contacts and stuff like that hurts my eyes too. i have have to use Kiss Me eyeliner that i got at my eye doctor's office. that brand also sells mascara.
if its been 3 or more months since you've bought it then yes.
No. Myabe..u should get a diffrent brand of contacts?
OLd mascara can cause infection in your eye which can make it sore. Also try hypoallergenic mascara it is easier on your eyes. That is what my eye Dr recommened for me

What kind of eye makeup remover really gets mascara and eyeliner out?
baby oil actually gets it off better than anything elseWhat kind of eye makeup remover really gets mascara and eyeliner out?
Baby oil, plain and simple, takes it all off and is good for your skin! Not too mention its cheaper! What kind of eye makeup remover really gets mascara and eyeliner out?
Mary Kay eye makeup remover.
I use an 100% coco-stick @99 cents...rub it all over the face and eyes too...then I wash my face....I love the smell of coco!!
I wear a lot of eye makeup and I always use the moist facial towelettes. they work very well.
neutrogena makeup remover wipes
Try using Vaseline or cold cream. It's healthy for your skin and removes the makeup easily. Makeup remover wipes also work well. Merry Christmas! :)
neutrogena face wash works really well for me but sometimes I still have smudges under my eyes so I guess i don't really know. hope i helped atleast a little bit!
Ponds Cold Cream-best stuff ever. put it on ur eyes, leave it on for like 2 minutes, then take a really hott rag that is like wet with as hot water as u can take and lay it over ur eyes for 2 more minutes, then use the rag to wipe the ponds of.
mary kay make up remover i use very black and jet black mascara waterproof and i swear mary kay gets it all off and there mascara is super
I would use clean and clear make-up remover pads... They work great and fantabulous 4 mii!!!
i just use vaseline or baby oil.. i wash my face at night anyways so it all washes away ( the residue )
funny as this sounds I use cold milk on a cosmetic pad. It takes it right off and I always have milk in the house. I rinse with cold water after to remove any of the sugars. You only need a little, just enough to moisten the pad.
Milk is very good for skin, Cleopatra bathed in pure milk and history still talks about her flawless skin.
Try olive oil %26amp; some cotton pads. Olive oil is also a good moisturizer if you're skin isn't prone to acne.

neutrogena face wash works really well for me but sometimes I still have smudges under my eyes so I guess i don't really know. hope i helped atleast a little bit!
Do vibrating mascara wands really work?
Those new mascaras with the vibrating applicators look interesting. Has anyone every tried them? Do they work well or do they kind of give you spider lashes?Do vibrating mascara wands really work?
You get the same effect by wiggling your own mascara wand at the base of your lashes. It'll separate them and give you more definition. I wouldn't go for the vibrating applicator because that just means you have less control over it. Good luck!Do vibrating mascara wands really work?
I have the vibrating mascara that Estee Lauder makes and I actually really like it! The vibration feels really good when I'm putting it on and my lashes always look good- it helps to get the mascara in between the lashes and get a really good coating on them. I also figured out that it works best when you apply it really slowly.
Could you just wiggle a regular mascara at the base of your lashes and get the same effect? Probably- but this one is just fun!
I dont think they do, I couldn't tell you from experiance but you may as well move a regular mascara wand yourself. I think its just something to make money.
lol Yeah right I love how people are sucked in by those Cheapy AD's dont you
Nah, they are just gimmicky. girls will buy them cos they are novel. Old fashioned is best with mascara
There is so much crap being sold in the beauty industry. Lord knows how much money i have squandered in my life time on useless products.
no, they do not work. it's a waste of money.live.com

Does wearing mascara everyday affect your eyelashes in anyway?
I've heard how wearing mascara everyday can damage your eyelashes, is that true? Thanks! :)Does wearing mascara everyday affect your eyelashes in anyway?
no it doesn't. If one thing, mascara actually makes it better. I use to wear mascara every day, but now I don't even need to because my lashes ';imitated'; the mascara look, basically even without mascara my lashes still look long and thick unlike before (sparse and thin). This is because many mascara's have fibre in it or aloe which are all good for eyelashes
also it doesn't make lashes fall out because lashes fall out on their own and they do actually grow back, the one thing that can damage you lashes with mascara is, if you apply it then curl instead of curling than applyingDoes wearing mascara everyday affect your eyelashes in anyway?
I used the collasol brush mascara (dunno how to spell it) from maybelline, avon (check for the one with aloe in it), and a bunch of others. Most mascara's have fibre and aloe in it, just check the back Report Abuse
no its doesn't damage your eyelashes. just remember to take it off before you go to bed. and when you remove your mascara with makeup remover be gentle. when you curl your lashes don't squeeze the eyelash curler too hard. oh and don't curl your lashes when your already wearing mascara. hope this helped!
yes they start to some people they get short or they start falling out but make sure every time you use mascara to take it of because they will get ruined its better to use fake eye lashes
i hope not!
and i doubt it does if u take it off every night before bed
also i heard extra virgin olive oil helps ur lashes.
i bluddy well hope not.

What color mascara should i wear?
I have dark brown hair, dark brown eyes and fair skin, what color is best for me? What color mascara should i wear?
me too! i wear black mascara. if your edgy, i'd try dark purple. What color mascara should i wear?
I also have dark brown hair and fair skin, but I have hazel eyes. I always use black mascara because my hair is dark. If it makes you look washed out and is too dark for your pale skin, try a dark brown, but if your eyebrows and hair is dark, stick with black.
i think that you should try green. my spanish teacher likes to where green mascara and she has brown hair and eyes and looks good on her. also blue might look good with your skin tone. also if you use those colors try to match them with the same color eyeliner. they sell those colors at walmart for really cheap prises.. so good luck!
brown,or black
bcoz u choose the shade that is a little darker then ur eyes, and ur lashes(so basically ur hair color )
or choose green for parties etc.to stand out basically, but not for a normal day to work or stuff :p
hope that helped :)
keep looking lovely :)
You can wear any color you like, depending on the look your going for, but if your doing everday look, I would do a black/brown
My friend has dark hair and eyes and she wore green mascara!
It made her eyes look amazing, and made her eye colour stand out xD
I think green would look great, but I reckon you'd suit most colours.
If you really don't know stick with black or clear.
Black.
go with brown
try blue

How to remove eye make up easily, ie mascara? without irritation?
i remove my mascara by closing my eyes and rubbing with warm water.. and then using an eye make up remover cream to remove the black marks around my eyes,
but even doing this .. especially when i juz rub with the water.. my eyes feel irritated, and theres still like black stuff in my eye, and i juz want a simple way to remove it, without irritation and strain. How to remove eye make up easily, ie mascara? without irritation?
I wear bright heavy eye makeup, so sometimes a baby wipe doesn't get it all off easily, and it irritates my skin to rub at it. So I use vaseline. Seems silly, but a tiny bit of Vaseline will lift all the colour off gently, AND moisturise your eyelids and eyelashes. Put a bit on your finger tip and gently rub your lashes between your thumb and forefinger and your mascara will lift straight off - even the waterproof kind. I have sensitive skin and it has not irritated my skin at all. I then wipe over gently with a fragrance free baby wipe and ta-da.How to remove eye make up easily, ie mascara? without irritation?
If you are in uk then go to Superdrug they do amazing wipes for sensitive skin that can be used for removing eye make up and even waterproof mascara. I swear by them. They are in a blue packet of 40 i think, under 拢2 and are superdrugs own make.
Try using Kyri and Kimi natural Sweet Almond and orange make up remover. It has natural ingredients and uses sweet almond oil which is really good for removing that tough mascara. It wont irritate you as it is all natural. Check the website out.
Clinuque take the day away is the most fantatic product all you do is shake the bottle and put a little on a piece of cotton wool and gentley wipe your eye no scrubbing and it all comes away real easy

Is sharing mascara and eyeliner really bad for you?
I was researching and I am not sure if its true but, ';they'; say that sharing makeup spreads bacteria and its bad ect. I kind of shared my completely brand new eyeliner and mascara with my friends at school the other day. Dang it!
:(
I feel so stupid. My mom is going to be so mad at me for wasting 14 bucks for nothing. Plus, I only used it twice. Should I throw away the mascara and eyeliner, or keep it? I don't really want any eye problems so.....yea.Is sharing mascara and eyeliner really bad for you?
Yes, it's quite harmful. If the eyeliner is pencil, then its fine, you can always sharpen it. Mascara has the most germs so I don't suggest keeping it.
It's alright! You've learned your lesson. Is sharing mascara and eyeliner really bad for you?
I don't see any problem with sharing eye makeup, unless the other person is ill, obviously. But, on the other hand, I don't think it's advisable, because you can't be sure if the person is ill or not. Eye infections can be nasty, be careful.
even though i had people always telling me not to share makeup..you will get pink eye or whatever...i still share eyeliners and sometimes marscara whenever my friends ask for it.but its not a everday thing ..but not towards strangers or random or people i dont know very well..only really good close friends whom i feel comfortable sharing their stuff and vice versa, and i only share with close friends cuz i know there clean hygenic people. anyone whos ur friend and you dont really trust them using it cuz you know there not that much of a clean person or simply dont know how clean they excatly are....be careful and simply dont share, they cant get mad at you for not wanting to share makeup that you bought :)
but never share blush brushes! your asking to get pimples lol
yeah it is, i got an eye infection from sharing eyeliner... my eyes wurr all red and extremely itchy and in the morning i had sooo much gunk all over my eyes that i had to force them open, and u cant wear makeup, all from sharing eyeliner, dont do it... it sux. juss sayin:-) i no longer share makeup haha!!:-))
Yes it spreads bacteria, but unless your friends have pink eye or something, you should not be so worried. For your eyeliner just resharpen it.
I share mascara/eyeliner w/ my friends all the time and i never had to worry about eye problems
it can if your friend have pink eye or anything of that nature
but really its not that bad
to completly safe it wouldnt share it again but you dont have to throw it out unless your eye starts to get irritated
Keep it, it's just like how sharing a cup of water with your friend will kill you.
Unless you have blue eyes then it's likely you will get a sty.
Yes it is bad to do that. You can get severe eye infections. All mascara and eyeliners should be replaced every 3 months to avoid self contamination
Sharing eyeliner says you can't afford one of your own. Poverty stricken people share personal items.
I think it's fine sharing mascara and eyeliner. I do it all the time.
The only time you shouldn't share makeup is when you or the other person your sharing with has pink eye or etc.
You can spread pink eye (conjunctivitis) and herpes eye infections.
I would keep it and wipe it off.. don't share anymore tho- you really are sharing allllll your germs when you share makeup!!
pink eye stupid
throw away the mascara but i think if you sharpen the eyeliner that will be ok
i guess but idk i had a pink eye but i dont know where i got it from
Do not ever share your mascara; would you share your toothbrush? Same thing!
no dont throw it away i share my mascara with my friends all the time and my eyes are fine
:(

How old should you be before you wear mascara?
Just curious. How old should you be before you wear mascara?
I was 12 mascara and lip gloss and that was it !How old should you be before you wear mascara?
13. When you become a teenager
I am a friend that's a girl ans she started wearing mascara when she started high school I think that is a right time (But don't put on to much)
i let my daughter wear mascara at age 12
When your mom and you feel you're ready to and can apply it properly. Stay close to natural shades please!
I'm 12 and i wear it
I would say at least 13 or 14. BE sure you have a steady hand....take it slow....don't over do it. You could cause damage to your eye.
Good luck!
12- 13 years old
12-13 i dont wanna see some 10 year old thinkin she is somethin else when she don't even kno wat the real world is!
well mascara and eye liner are totally different like mascara can be worn at like say 12-13.. but eye liner should be a lot older
I would say you could start wearing mascara when you get into 7th or 8th grade.
18-20 not Any younger than 17 it makes you look evil.
however old you feel like. i have been wearing it for like 3 years and i am around 16 but my parents were really strict with what makeup i was allowed to wear
I was not allowed to wear any makeup until I turned 15.
i was 13 but i've always been gothish
18.
12/13 is a good age to start but with a brown or clear instead of black.
13
I would say high school age so around 14.
on my personal opinion only, i think theres no age limit on
when you can wear mascara its your choice if its what you
like and you feel comfortable wearing it then go.
if you have naturally dark hair and eyelashes, 14 but if you have blonde hair, 12 or 13.
i started at 12, but its up to you
I would say once you get to high school, whatever age that may be.
16 and up..why would anyone younger than that have a reason to...they're too young..16 and up is perfect
I wore Darth Vader mascara for halloween when I was like 8 yrs old.
if your younger than 16 I just don't think that it's neccesary
i think 18 other ways the young girl can b most scarey if she were mascara
i started in 8th grade
I started wearing it when I was 14. I would say in late middle school or high school.

Eyeliner and mascara with purple eyeshadow?
I did a subtle purple eyeshadow blend and I think it looks pretty good with my eye color. However, I do not know what colors to use for my eyeliner and mascara (I wear very little of both) This is for a casual daytime look so I do not want it to be too dark or clownish.
Any suggestions? I have green eyes by the way.Eyeliner and mascara with purple eyeshadow?

Tips for MASCARA ... which products are best? Best way to apply it? How to make them look good, long, thick?
etcetc........ I want to make them really long and beautiful ......... I have the covergirl orange tube, its suppost to beat all leading brands. Still, I would love to know tips on making my eyelashes look great without using mascara BRANDS other then from zellers/walmart or drugstore .........Tips for MASCARA ... which products are best? Best way to apply it? How to make them look good, long, thick?
Maybelline Mascara is the #1 Mascara. Just the one in the pink and green tube It's really really good. And cheap.
Curl your eyelashes first.Tips for MASCARA ... which products are best? Best way to apply it? How to make them look good, long, thick?
okay, curl your lashes with a heated curler, apply clear mascara, curl again, apply your mascara, curl again, apply another coat, curl again, apply the clear mascara, curl and holdd the blow dry up to your eyes as your curling so itll hold like hot rollers
Here are some greatt brands Great Lash by maybeline, Laura Geller %26gt; qvc.com%26gt;cosmetics those are my faves!! hope you try them out i like to blink when i aply it.
Have you ever seen clear conditioning mascara, if you pick up a tube of that and use pretty much any other brand of mascara it really makes your eyelashes look long. What you do is apply the clear mascara and use your regular mascara over it once its dried. I prefer the newer mascara brushes thats bend and are made out of plastic. Also when you apply the clear close your eye, do the top part of your lashes then open your eye and do the other side, it really works

What mascara makes eyelashes full & thick?
I have long eyelashes so when i put on some mascara it usually makes it seem even longer which looks horrible to me!
I'm pretty sure out of all the mascaras, theres got to be at least one that helps to make eyelashes fuller/thicker.
The cheaper the better. But if its a bit expensive thats alright.
Thanks so much! What mascara makes eyelashes full %26amp; thick?
farts! What mascara makes eyelashes full %26amp; thick?
I use Maybelline ';Full-n-soft'; mascara. With all the crazy formulas out there, this one builds nice fuller lashes that don't clump or look weird %26amp; spiky. Even thought it's called full %26amp; soft, it still goes on well - it's not skimpy or anything.

That's the story you need to read! It'll totally help you choose the perfect mascara. I'd say that you're more of a scenario 3.
Enjoy!
Try Revlon 3D extreme mascara. It volumizes well, and doesn't add much length. Also, I've found that older, dryer mascaras don't have as much lengthening effect. So you can put more on and your lashes won't be as long :]

What would you let your child wear, mascara or eye liner?
I was wondering because she is growing up so fast and I'm not even sure if she should wear make-up, but she wants to so i want to let her! What would you let your child wear, mascara or eye liner?
my mom is exactly this way. and she's really strict and conservative. i would say mascara because that's what my mom did. mascara is hardly noticeable, but yet it enhances the eyes feature and make lashes look longer. however, if eyeliner isn't applied on properly, it will most likely turn out too thick and noticeable. What would you let your child wear, mascara or eye liner?
how old is she?
i dont think kids under 12 should wear any...
and 12-13ish should NOT wear eyeliner, since most girls that age don't know how to use it and always end up wearing WAY to much to look like the pop stars like avril or something.
i dont know, that's just what i've noticed.
If she is young i stay stick with mascara for now. Eye liner is when your older and if she is young she would probably put on too much and that can make you look like a slut and trampy.
depending on their age... most girls start wearing makeup in middle school.
mascara mainly... at least at my school all the popular people wore eyeliner, and all the other people that wore makeup just wore mascara.
She's growing up and she wants to wear it, so let her!! She's only going to live once, let her enjoy it! By the way how old is she?

How Long does a Virus Live in Mascara?
How long can a virus live in Mascara?
a virus that causes Viral Conjunctivitis
(Yes, I know you should throw Mascara out, etc.)
but I am curious
How long can a virus actually live in Mascara?
How long does a virus live on a doorknob? How Long does a Virus Live in Mascara?
Dump Mascara after 3 months of use. If you expose it to a virus it will not die off because it is in a moist environment...it will just multiply. The amount of time a virus can last anywhere depends on the type of virus it is.How Long does a Virus Live in Mascara?
It can live for a long time because it's such a little tube of make up...make sure to throw it away!

What's the best method for removing mascara?
I feel like I'm rubbing the *%26amp;%! out of my eyes trying to get the stuff off with lotion. Is their a gentle and effective way? What's the best method for removing mascara?
Try the Shu Uemura Skin Purifier.
First you put on a layer (without water). It's oily and protects the skin. Sometimes the skin gets dry from too much washing too hard.
Second you wet your hands and wash your face. It's not frothy but it's perfect for makeup removal. One of the things its made for is exactly mascara remover. I use it all the time. It's effective and protects my skin. I used to rub my eyes a lot with frothy makeup remover and that gets irritating on the eyes. It also makes a person age quicker and get more wrinkles. What's the best method for removing mascara?
ok this is a major investment but this is the most effective way
BeneFit ';gee that was quick'; make up remover, its a bit expensive i know, but i find a couple of drops is all you need on a cotton wool pad, and then one swipe on each eye gets off all your mascara and eyeliner. depends how much you put on, but this product will cut through the make up like a hot knife through butter! Its not got any harmful alcohol in it either i think all their products are plant derived
use make up remover with a cotton pad
hold it between your fingers and go so it looks like your about to pinch your eye
swipe the pad horizontally over the lashes, but not to hard coz you dont wanna rip out lashes!
use baby oil
Any eye makeup remover OR for a fast cheap something you already might have around the house...try Vaseline. Just be sure to wash afterwards with an antibacterial liquid soap and warm water.
Definately baby-wipes, cost you less, gentle %26amp; effective too. I use it to remove my make-up too. Why spend $25-$30 on make-up removal wipes when baby-wipes does the same job for less, hehe
Baby wipe and baby oil.
Works every time (better than makeup remover if you ask me).
It's like $15 but Clinique has a make-up remover that get EVERYTHING off n doesn't dry out your skin. N it's not oily either which is great.
.makeup remover wipes ; most do not irritate eyes...they are quick and easy to use.
mary kay has an oil free eye makeup remover, its the best!
just get your hands wet then wipe your face from your eyes down then get all the extra with a warm cotton ball or q tip NO SOAP or LOTION!!!
Johnsons foaming facial wash works for me.
Some times soap and water do not work on mascara because it is too waterproof. I use petroleum jelly and apply it to the lashes and let it sit on them for about 10 minutes and the mascara softens and wipes right off with a tissue. It is good for the soft skin around the eyes too, it does not irritate or dry skin.
Are these people insane, BABY OIL??? Just use a little soap on a wet q-tip. It lets you get in the area and directly under the eye for any smudges carefully without getting anything in your eyes.
Eye makeup remover, you don't have to rub, just press the cotton ball on your eye for a few seconds and voila!
get that eye makeup remover thats like clear and blue in color and has the consistancy of water. then dip a tissue in it till its soaked and rub only your eyelashes (gently) using your thumb and forefinger
cleasing oil is the best!!!Trust me!
