If you can, try purchasing a basic clear mascara (I use Maybelline Great Lash mascara in clear). Apply this first to separate the lashes without adding any clumps, wait a few minutes for it to dry, and follow with your normal mascara. Always start as close to your lash line as possible and roll your mascara wand in an upward circular direction.

there is a technique to get the fullest out of your mascera. when applying it curl the mescare brush up while using the same regualr motion, its very hard to ecplain with out shing you in person. but basically just twirl your brush up while bruching up on the eye lash ...get it?
When I start at the root of my lashes and follow up to the tips, I wiggle it a little and it really gets the stuff on them and makes them look better and more fuller.
if you hold the wand horizontally so that the tip is pointing towards your lashes and apply that way it makes you tips SUPER long!!!

The first two answers are what I usually do. Also helps if u try loreal telescopic mascara or dior show mascara.
