whats the best lengthening mascara? i dont neccesarily need volume with it, length is what i need. is the maybelline XXL extensions good? what about lash stiletto? and rimmel sexy curves? any others? thanks!Whats the best drugstore brand lengthening mascara?
I'm not so sure about the volumizing and curl because I always go for lenghening but Lash Stiletto is WONDERFUL. Check out my before and after pic. /(Ignore the untames eyebrows lol)

This stuff is insane! LOVE! Only thing is with all maybelline mascaras they have a weird smell but I can deal with the smell for this price and this good of result.Whats the best drugstore brand lengthening mascara?
I really dig Cover Girl Great Lash, but I don't think it does much for length or curl...
L'Oreal Telescopic mascara and L'Oreal Voluminous mascara are GREAT for lengthening and volume, and their new Double Extend Beauty Tubes mascara is really stinkin' great too. My friend bought some (it only comes in black and super black... I wear brown-black, so I had to watch from afar. :[ Bummer! ) and we watched her put it on, and we could SEE her lashes getting longer. It was wild, and it worked! You just have to put it on really quick-like. Put the conditioner on, and then flip the brush around right away and put the mascara on your lash. Only do one eye at a time.

ive tried pretty much almost all mascaras. ur talking to the girl who is mascara obsessed. i use 3 different types of mascara. combining them in different ways tend to work the best. and theyre not too expensice because i got them at a drug store but they seem to work the best. ok, waterproof tends to give the most length because theyre more, well, liquid-y. so the three i use:
1.Covergirl fantastic last waterproof hydrofuge
2. Rimmel London lycra lash extender ( adds 60% more lenge and 50% more curve apparently)
3. Loreal Paris waterproof voluminous (mines in black, very pretty!)

the orange covergirl stuff. i think it is lash-blast but i am not sure.
Don't use the maybelline XXL it ruins your eyelashes because it is putting actual extensions and tubes on your eyelashes. Don't use lash stilleto either because that damages your eyelashes as well. best bet is the orange tube. ITS AMAZING and i always buy it.
Lash stiletto is pretty good. Most maybelline stuff is good, they have a lot of eyelash stuff. Also, you could try false eyelashes. They take practice, but it gets easier. You put this glue stuff on either your lid or lash (IDK which one), and attach the lash. It might bug you for a while, but you will get used to it.

but bcuz it doesnt curl that well, take your eyelash curler, heat up with your blow dryer for about 5 sec. make sure it's not too hot for the skin around your eyes.
then curl your lashes as the base for 5 secs, the middle for 5secs, and the tips for 5 secs.
this will make your eyes look bigger and more awake!

Just put a little lotion on your eyelashes before you apply your mascara,it lenghthens them and gives volume and mascara wll easily seperate.Curl,use eyelash curlers.
If you want the fake look, volume IS what you should look for.
Lash Stiletto is really good. But my first choice is Cover Girl Lash Blast.
If you want curl, curl your eyelashes.
personally i would go to macys or somewhere and get badgal mascara
it work soooo well! does all three :)
(make sure not to buy covergirl or anything tht is dist. by procter and famble because they test on animals)

I agree with Abesmobes. I've tried almost every mascara on the freakin' planet, because I am a BEAUTY PRODUCT JUNKIE:) I've spent tons on different mascaras, but I always end up going back to either Lash Blast, or I also like Max Factor's new version of the 2000 Calorie mascara. Another product I kinda liked for the ';false lash'; look is Two Faced Lash injection. You can buy a sample of it at Sephora for like, 10.00. It's the same premise as the ';beauty tubes';, but a much better product.
My advice to you is to stick with Lash Blast or the new Max Factor....they're very similar.
PS: To hold curl (because sometimes mascaras weigh lashes down, and straighten the curl) I do this: Heat my lash curler with a hairdryer, test the curler on my wrist to make sure it's not too hot, then curl my lashes. Then I very quickly apply a very light coat of the pink and green regular old Maybelline WATERPROOF mascara over the curled parts, and let it dry. That holds the curl literally all day. Then I put my Lash Blast or Max Factor over it:)
