Can people notice when you wear mascara?

One time I wore eyeliner to school for the first time and a lot of girls noticed. They kept bugging me about it. I am just wondering if mascara is noticeable. I am 13.

Questions:

Is mascara noticeable?

At what age do you start wearing makeup?

If you can wear makeup at 13, what do you wear without looking like a clown?

Why do girls think that wearing makeup means that you are trying to be grown up?Can people notice when you wear mascara?
Q: Is mascara noticeable?

A: It depends on how much you use. If you use five or more strokes, then it may get very dark. If you only do one stroke, then it won't be very recognizable. Three strokes is a good point.

Also, wearing mascara on a daily basis, it may not be noticed a lot. If you wear it from the first minute you know somebody, then they may take it as your natural lashes. If you want to get noticed, then either don't wear any, and then one day wear it, OR you could wear a little every day and then one day, wear a lot.

Q: What age do you start wearing make up?

A: I would say a good age would be 12 or 13, but overdoing it would be weird for that age. If you want to overdo it, then at least wait until you're 16.

Q: What makeup to wear at 13 without looking clownish?

A: Three strokes of Mascara, a little eye shadow (that matches your outfit) and lip gloss (or anything that makes your lips shine)

Q: Why do people think that wearing make-up means that you are trying to look grown up?

A: Usually, that is only if they overdo it to try to make their selves look sexy. If they think otherwise, then they are wrong. I don't know why people think that a lot.

Hope it helps! :)Can people notice when you wear mascara?
1) Mascara can be noticeable depending on how much you put on. If you don't want it to be noticeable use a mascara that's the same colour as your eyelashes normally brown and only apply one or two layers.

2) There is no right or wrong age to start wearing make up. I personally started wearing it when I was around 14 or 15 because I had bad spots and I used foundation to cover it. It is really up to you unless your family have a major problem with it.

3) I think when you are 13 you don't need that much make up so just use a bit of mascara and some lip gloss if you want to wear any. Defiantly do not wear foundation unless you need to as that is what makes people look clown like and what is most likely to go wrong because you get the wrong shade.

4) Girls think that by wearing make up you are trying to be grown up because it is grown ups who wear make up. While you are still young and don't actually need to cover up spots or bags under your eyes just wear as little as you can or non at all.

At the end of the day you have to choose if you wear any make up or not if it makes you feel better then do it.
Wearing mascara can be noticeable. Most of the time it is. I can easily tell between people who are wearing mascara and who aren't wearing mascara. I actually started wearing makeup around 13 or 14. Basically I tried to stay neutral and just wore eyeliner and mascara. Don't wear super bold eyeshadow or dark red lipstick. Then you'll start to look like a clown. But I really don't think it makes a difference if you want to wear makeup or not. Most consider it as being ';grown up'; because you don't really see 10 year olds wearing makeup.
Just start gradually putting on mascara and it won't be too noticeable. But yes, if you put a ton of black lengthening mascara on it is pretty noticeable.

That same thing happened to me too. It was really annoying. Everyone was like OMG YOU'RE WEARING MAKEUP!

its like yeah, i noticed.

anyways, i started wearing makeup when i was almost thirteen. Wear a little bit of brown natural eyeliner in the beginning, then gradually move on to thick black eyeliner if you want. You could also wear a silver or grey eye shadow. Its really pretty and not that noticeable!

I don't wear makeup to be grown up, I wear it because it makes me look prettier! haha, duhhhh!

hope i helped, and good luck.
im 13 too and when i wear mascara to school most people don't really notice unless i put on A LOT which i usually don't :)

1.) not really unless their looking closely or if u put on a lot

2.)i started wearing makeup around 11 but only mascara and lip gloss not like a whole lot

3.)i only wear mascara,lip gloss,and sometimes eyeliner

4.)its usually because they're jealous cuz THEY can't wear makeup yet
1) Not if you only put a bit on.

2) I started at 13

3) Spot cover, powder foundation, eyeliner on top lid, mascara + blusher

4) I dunno, prob cuz mostly adults wear makeup and nowadays a lot of teen girls are wearing LOADS of makeup so they look like models and stuff. Well, they do where I live ...
Other girls might notice your mascara but its not THAT noticeable unless you look for it

I started wearing makeup in highschool so like 15

If you have nice skin, just wear natural eyeshadow, blush, and mascara

Well, because you are trying to be grownup.
Is mascara noticeable?- it really depends on what color your eyelashes are naturally and how heavy you apply mascara. My eyelashes are black and thick so mascara just intensified that. But generally I don't think it would be too noticable.

At what age do you start wearing makeup?- I started at 13, but it just depends on you. :]

If you can wear makeup at 13, what do you wear without looking like a clown? -At 13 I wore concealer(if i had a break out or something), black mascara, and lip gloss.

Why do girls think that wearing makeup means that you are trying to be grown up?- yeah, i don't know. I hate it when people bug you about stuff like this. ';are you wearing eyeliner?'; ';are you wearing eyeshadow?'; gah, just leave me alone. haha but honestly just brush them off. they're probably just jealous and wondering why they didn't do it first. ;]
