How can i convince my mom to let me wear mascara?

well in my other question everyone suggested i should start wearing makeup starting mascara (i dont really want to wear eyeshadow). but my mom didn't let my sister wear it until she was 14, and she even said to my sister that i was too young to wear mascara. i'd like to wear some kind of eye makeup, and i like mascara. but i'm not allowed to wear it (as i said above)!!! how can i convince my mom to let me wear mascara? and there's no way i can wear it without her knowing - she definitely could tell.How can i convince my mom to let me wear mascara?
Discuss you are growing up, and tell her you don't want harsh makeup, explain that you will buy the mascara yourself (Sorry hun) look for the kind that has then bristles to prevent a clumpy look. The mascara I use just darkens and lengthens without clump, it looks natural and makes your eyes appear more open. This just cost around ($3.50-$4.00) I don't know exactly my Mom buys my makeup (I use Clinique) it's expensive, but works very well, but they have less expensive brands that work very well also.





I know it stinks not being able to wear makeup like most of the other girls, but your Mom is just trying to show you, that your a pretty girl that doesn't need all that stuff on your face. I am a very attractive girl too, but I still wear eyeliner and mascara (I'm into the dark eyes ';punk'; makeup) Just try my advice, or you and your Mom can I girls day out before school starts and head to the mall for a makeover with natural tones, where a professional will find all the right colors, then your Mom will see how pretty and natural you can look while wearing makeup. My Mom did that to me two years ago in the Summer before I went into 7th grade. I was allowed to wear makeup then on.





Also tell her you will only use it with her consent. Showing responsibility will make her more likely to say yes in a situation like this. Don't exactly use bribing. Example, do the laundry for 3 days of wearing Mascara until it turns into a routine.

You have two choices





1. Use polite diplomacy and bribes


2. If 1 fails, beat her until she begs for mercy. I would use a wooden baseball bat.
You sound young. In all honesty don't go for dark mascara before 15... it just looks silly on young girls. If you need to brighten your eyes up, ask your mom if she'd be ok with you wearing clear mascara. It lengthens without looking artificial.
Chances are that if you still have to get permission to wear makeup, you shouldn't be wearing it anyway. Wait until your skin really needs it. Until then, be one of the few that shows natural beauty, not Avon and Maybelline beauty.

hmmm.......tell your mother that u will only use it when you ask her permission. Or you can negotiate with her. for example tell her you can set the dinner table or something.
